At the end of the 2024 "TOPsport A Lyga” season, which was marked by the Kauno rajono FC "Hegelmann” football club achieving the highest position in its history—second place in the league—changes are beginning within the squad.

After three seasons, the paths of the blue and white team and Brazilian player Hugo Figueredo are parting ways, as the player will move to another club in the country following the expiration of his contract.

"I would like to thank FC "Hegelmann” for the three years spent at the club, for the joyful and learning years. Playing more than 100 matches for the blue and whites was a true pleasure. I thank the coaching staff, the directors, and all my teammates for the time spent here. I believe I gave this club everything I could. Now it is time to say goodbye,” said H. Figueredo as he parted ways.

The 33-year-old fullback arrived at the Kauno rajono club in 2022 and over three seasons helped the club qualify for the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers twice and win silver medals in the strongest league in Lithuania.

In the Lithuanian championship, the Brazilian played 104 matches in the blue and white kit, scoring 9 goals and providing 13 assists.

FC "Hegelmann” also thanks the player for his years dedicated to the club, his commitment on the field, and wishes him success in his future career.
