"Barcelona” club head coach Hansi Flick talked about his future with the team and stated that Dani Olmo is not yet ready to compete:

"I really enjoy my time here. Both the players and the coaching staff, as well as everyone else, are incredible. The atmosphere at the club is fantastic, like a family. I love living in Barcelona, and I am full of energy and ideas for this team to improve even more.”

"But I am not the type of coach who signs a three-year contract just to feel secure. I want to work at this club, which is the best in the world. Step by step, calmly and slowly.”

"Right now, the contract is valid for one year... Then we will see. If everyone is happy, we will continue to move in the same direction. But I am focused on the present – we still have a lot of work to do.”

"Dani Olmo will not be able to compete tomorrow. It's best that he recovers a bit more and works with the coaching staff. The Spaniard will not help the team for now.”

Hansi Flick’s contract with the "Barcelona” team is valid until the summer of 2026.
