The "Olympique" club has a new strategist.
It is the 46-year-old Frenchman Hubert Fournier, who has previously coached the players of "Stade de Reims."
The specialist takes over as the head coach of "Lyon" from Remi Garde, who has decided to take a break from football.
H. Fournier coached the "Stade de Reims" team for four years, and in 2012, thanks to him, the team returned to the top French football division, where they had not played for 33 years.
Immediately after returning, the "Stade de Reims" club finished in 14th place in the "Ligue 1" standings, and this season they remained in 13th place.
H. Fournier has also worn the "Lyon" jersey as a player. He represented this club from 1998 to 2000.
This season, the "Lyon" club finished in 5th place in the "Ligue 1" championship standings and did not have the opportunity to compete in either of the two European football tournaments.
