Harry Kane does not understand the criticism he receives for simulating fouls.
The 26-year-old footballer claims that he never tried to provoke a foul in an illegal way, although a significant number of people speak otherwise.
"I have never done that and I hope I won't have to do it," Kane replied when asked if he has ever simulated a foul.
The striker has already been involved in situations this season where a foul or a yellow card for simulation could have been given.
"Immediately after the match against Arsenal, I said that the situation was 50-50. Similar to the one that was whistled against us unfairly at Wembley stadium a year ago. This often happens in football.
I am the type of player who tries to use his body as much as possible. In the middle of the pitch or during simple set pieces, a free kick is awarded every time for similar fouls. However, when it happens in the penalty box, you don't always get the foul.
People's opinions are their opinions. I really don't focus on what others say about it. I care about giving 100% and contributing to the team's victories," Kane continued.
