H. Kane: "I was hoping for a better start to the season"

London's "Tottenham" leader Harry Kane admits that he expected a completely different start to the season, but he does not panic strongly because of it.

"Tottenham" returned to the path of victories this weekend, and H. Kane himself scored a penalty kick. However, the "Spurs" have already experienced three defeats this season, and the striker also cannot boast of impressive statistics - only three goals.

"Of course, I feel like I could have played much better in most of this season's matches," the Englishman admitted. "The match against 'Brighton' was probably the only one where I was satisfied with my performance."

"I feel quite good. Being a striker, you are always scrutinized more closely than any other player. That's the life of our strikers. Sometimes you get opportunities, you don't realize them, and feel like you could have done more. The only thing you think about after such matches is how to improve your game.

"I scored three goals this season, which is certainly not tragic. Of course, when you set standards from previous seasons, people start talking about why you don't play as before.

Strikers always have both bad and good spells. The most important thing I need to do on the pitch is to help the team. Goals are a bonus to all the hard work," added H. Kane.
