On Saturday, the England national team crushed Ukraine 4-0 in the quarterfinals of the European Championship and confidently advanced to the tournament's semifinals, where they will face Denmark. In the quarterfinals, England was led by Harry Kane, who scored two goals and stated after the match that his team already knows how painful it is to lose in the semifinals.
"The whole team played fantastically. Everything started perfectly. Later on, Ukraine created some problems for us, but a powerful start to the second half made us feel much calmer. We are on the right track and I am happy to be part of this team. We need to rest well and show the same confidence in ourselves in the semifinals.
"We know how painful it is to be just one step away from the final. We have a clear vision - we want to win this championship. We want the whole country to be proud of us," Kane said after the victory.
