Hugo Lloris claims that the London team "Tottenham" reached such a difficult journey in the UEFA Champions League only because of their teamwork.
"Tottenham" had to go through a tough road to the final - in the group stage, they won only two matches. In the quarterfinals, the "Spurs" easily surpassed "Borussia", but in the quarterfinals and semifinals, they needed a bit of a miracle.
"I think the team's unity in the matches against "Ajax" was the main highlight of this season," said H. Lloris at a press conference. "The players' connection with the club president and the fans... It was one of the best moments of my career."
"We want to create an even better moment in the final. We know that football is a team sport and that we spend a lot of time together. This can help achieve great things as a team. I believe that's why we are where we are in this season," added the goalkeeper.
