The main goalkeeper of London's "Tottenham", Hugo Lloris, revealed that a few years ago he was thinking about leaving, but his opinion changed with Mauricio Pochettino's arrival at "Spurs".
Since the 2014-15 season when M. Pochettino took over the "Tottenham" team, he is now considered one of the best strategists in the world. His coached "Tottenham" team is currently competing with "Leicester City" for the English "Premier" league title and is one of the strongest teams in England.
H. Lloris said that from the very first day with M. Pochettino, he understood that with this coach, the North London club could go far.
"After the departures of Villas-Boas and Sherwood, I had some doubts about my future in London. But after the first meeting with Mauricio Pochettino, I changed my mind and realized that my future is with this team," said the French national team goalkeeper.
"I trusted him from the very first second he arrived here. I understood what he wanted from us, and our football vision matched. We have the same vision in football.
He changed everything in this team - both the training system and the composition itself. We are a much improved team that our fans are proud of," added H. Lloris.
"Tottenham" will continue their fight for the "Premier" league title tomorrow when they host a match against "West Brom" at home.
