"Manchester United" is still fighting for a chance to return to the UEFA Champions League this season. The "Red Devils" are currently in fifth place in the Premier League, but are only three points behind the fourth-placed Chelsea players. After Ashley Young's departure, Harry Maguire, who became the team captain after arriving in Manchester just last summer, insists that "Man Utd" not only wants to try to qualify for the Champions League, but also wants to be in the title race.
"I think from the very beginning of the season it was clear that we are a united team and have a clear direction. When I joined the team, Solskjaer told me a lot about his vision and promised that we would end up where we belong. Now I see the direction we are moving in and the playing philosophy Ole wants to instill. Don't get me wrong, we need to improve a lot of aspects to get where we want to be. We don't just want to fight for a place in the Champions League, we want to fight for titles. We know we still need to improve a lot, but we are on the right track. I have no doubt that we will achieve our goal with time," Maguire told Sky Sports.
