The goalkeeper of the Japan national team will play in England next season - a player borrowed for one season from a club competing in the "Premier" league.
"I am glad that the deal is finally sorted out. His medical check-up went well, and we have already sorted everything out for his work permit," said "Bolton" coach Sam Allardyce. "He is an interesting purchase for us and will help strengthen our defense. He wants to perform very successfully with us and at the same time prove that he is a good player in the 'Premier' league."
Nakata is moving to "Bolton" after six years in the "Serie A" championship, where he played 182 matches representing five different clubs - "Perugia", "Roma", "Parma", "Bologna" and finally "Fiorentina". He joined the latter team last summer, but he couldn't quite fit in.
The 28-year-old player has already represented the Japanese national team 67 times and scored 10 goals. Nakata is very popular and considered one of the best footballers of all time in his country, but he has yet to leave a more significant mark in Europe.
