Hal Robson-Kanu, shining in the Welsh national team, currently does not have a contract with any team, and his performance at the European Championship has caught the attention of several clubs - according to the player, now teams from all over the world are offering him contracts.
The 27-year-old forward spent 12 years at "Reading" team until this summer, but this year he decided to change clubs and did not extend his contract with his former team. Although the player himself claims that he had offers before the European Championship, his decision to wait paid off - after a successful performance in the championship, interest in the Welsh national team player is much greater than before.
"I receive offers from clubs all over the world. I do not hide the fact that I would like to play in the Premier League and if that is the best place for me, I will choose a club from that league. I know that in the past bigger clubs were interested in me, but for one reason or another I couldn't move to them, so the decision not to sign a contract until the end of the European Championship is the best in my career," - said Robson-Kanu to BBC Sport.
Robson-Kanu is also convinced that the fact that he arrived at the championship without a team was too exaggerated, and now he is only thinking about the match with the Portuguese.
"It's funny that most people presented it as a big deal. I had offers before the tournament. Good offers and progressing clubs, but I decided to wait until the end of the championship. We are in one of the biggest tournaments, so each national team has world-class players. I enjoy this and try to seize the opportunity given. As a team, we will give our best and see where it takes us," he concluded.
