On Friday, one match was played in the Bundesliga, which started the 21st round of the competition - the Lower Saxony derby between "Hannover" and "Wolfsburg" after a fierce battle ended in a 2-2 draw.

The match started very successfully for the visiting Wolfsburg footballers - Hannover's goalkeeper Robert Enke managed to deflect the shot of the team's newcomer Marcelinho, but soon after D. Klimowicz's attempt found its target and after three minutes of play, "Wolfsburg" were already in the lead.

In the middle of the half, the hosts equalized the score, but a few minutes later, a shot by J. Krzynowek from about fifteen meters once again put "Wolfsburg" ahead. However, the promised victory could not be taken home by the Hanover guests as F.Fahrenhorst equalized the score for the second time with a close-range shot after playing just over an hour.
