Due to survival in the Bundesliga, the "Hannover" team is strengthening its attacking line - they have leased Adam Szalai from "Hoffenheim" until the end of the season.
In the summer of 2014, Hungarian Szalai moved to "Hoffenheim" for 6 million euros and did not find his game in the team. In a year and a half, he scored only five goals, and this season he appeared on the field only four times without any goals.
The Hungarian himself is motivated to represent another club until the end of the season because he wants to get more playing time approaching the European Championship.
"I am ready for a new challenge. I sincerely hope that I can demonstrate good performances here, which will help me to make it to the final squad of the European Championship. However, my main task will be to help "Hannover" avoid relegation from the league," Szalai said to the club's website.
"Hannover" has one of the worst attacks in the league this season and has only scored 18 goals. After the first round, they are in second to last place with 14 points.
