Hard days for A. Wenger: "West Brom" defeated "Arsenal" at home (VIDEO)

On Saturday, the first match of the 29th round of the English Premier League took place at 14:30 Lithuanian time.

West Brom players faced London's Arsenal team in front of their home crowd. The Arsenal fans once again witnessed a lackluster performance from their team, while Tony Pulis' players celebrated a 3-1 victory.

The victory was led by defender Craig Dawson, who scored in the 12th minute after Nacer Chadli's corner kick.

However, West Brom failed to hold onto their lead for long - Alexis Sanchez equalized the score after a great pass from Granit Xhaka.

More goals were not scored in the remaining first half time, so the battle continued into the next 45 minutes, which did not unfold as Arsene Wenger would have wanted.

In the 55th minute, West Brom once again took the lead - Hal Robson-Kanu scored with his first touch after appearing in the box following a substitution, although the episode was quite slippery as David Ospina's attempt to clear the ball was hindered by a likely offside opponent.

Arsenal tried to respond after another missed goal and Danny Welbeck hit the crossbar after a standard situation, but all hopes collapsed in the 75th minute when C. Dawson scored his second goal after a corner kick.

West Brom did not let the victory slip away in the remaining time and returned to the path of success after two consecutive defeats.
