"Barcelona" will finish the season without their young talent Gavi.

The 19-year-old Spaniard suffered a knee injury on Sunday during the European Championship qualifying match against Georgia and had to leave the field in the 26th minute.

It was officially confirmed on Monday that the footballer tore his anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus.

Gavi will be out of football for at least seven months, which means that the Spaniard's season is over. Furthermore, he will also miss the European Championship.

It is expected that Gavi will be able to join Barcelona from the beginning of the season preparation.
