The 34-year-old striker paid about half a million euros to return to his childhood club - La Coruna's "Deportivo".

At the moment, the legendary Spanish club competes in the third division, and the experienced striker returned with the goal of pulling his childhood club out of the hole.

L. Perez was welcomed by a crowd of thousands of fans at the La Coruna stadium.

"Deportivo" participated in the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in 2004, in the quarter-finals of this tournament in 2002 and 2001, and in total at that time they had the honor to participate in this prestigious tournament 5 times in a row.

The 2017-18 season was the last season for "Deportivo" in the "La Liga" championships. Since then, the team's loaning out to several leagues began.
