Frank Lampard begins his coaching career - today he was officially introduced as the head coach of Derby County, who compete in the Championship division.
In 2016, the Englishman ended his football career and recently worked as a football expert for the BT Sport channel, but working for Derby County will be his first coaching experience.
"This is my first job as a head coach, but I have worked with some of the best coaches in this sport and I trust both myself and the team's abilities. I know it won't be easy, but I eagerly embrace the challenge ahead," said F. Lampard.
Last season, Derby County finished in sixth position in the second tier of English football, and in the battle for a spot in the Premier League, they were eliminated by the Fulham team.
