"Montpellier" club had an unpleasant thing happen to them - a mistake crept into the official jerseys and the team's and city's name became "Montpelier". Interestingly, not only the clothing sold to fans, but also the ones worn by players on the field were "incorrect". Eventually, fans who requested refunds noticed the mistake, so the representatives of "Ligue 1" had to apologize. However, everything is not as bad as it seems, as now they have come up with an original way to expand their brand overseas. Today, the club officially announced that the "misleading" jerseys will be sent to Montpelier, a city in Vermont, USA with the same name that was mistakenly printed. "Montpellier" club can only hope that the residents of Montpelier, France will start supporting them in the French championship.
