In their ranks, six Lithuanians - five players and head coach Valdas Ivanauskas - currently in Edinburgh, could soon be joined by two more players from Lithuania. The British media reported that a defender and forward have arrived in the Scottish capital and are negotiating contract details with "Hearts."

If the players manage to reach an agreement with the club by the end of the transfer window on the night of August 31, the Lithuanian colony at "Hearts" will increase to eight.

Both players belong to the leader of the Lithuanian championship "FBK Kaunas" club. It is likely that both players will be loaned to the Edinburgh club, as both, "Hearts" belong to millionaire Vladimir Romanov.

"Hearts" currently have five Lithuanian national team players: defender Nerijus Barasa, midfielder Saulius Mikoliunas, Deividas Cesnauskas, along with recently added Marius Zaliukas, and forward Edgaras Jankauskas.
