After the match, the team coach Graham Rix mentioned to the players that the lineup for the match was not chosen by him, but by Romanov himself. Immediately after that, a meeting of the team players was held, during which it was decided to personally talk to the team manager. However, later team captain Steven Pressley mentioned that the players decided not to rush and wait for the weekend league match against Aberdeen. "First of all, we need to focus and concentrate on the weekend match, which is very important for our team," said Pressley. "On the other hand, we are really looking forward to meeting with Romanov to clarify everything as soon as possible." Romanov himself denies that he selects the team lineup and claims that if necessary, he will gladly talk to the team players and explain the situation at the club.
