Former Glasgow general secretary and director Campbell Ogilvie will take up similar positions at the Edinburgh club starting from December 5, announced the executive director of the Scottish capital club Roman Romanov on Saturday.

After spending 27 years at Rangers, C. Ogilvie left Glasgow this September. Currently holding the position of second vice president at the Scottish Football Association, C. Ogilvie stated he was pleased to be able to join a club with "good traditions and clear progress."

The new club director was also delighted by the arrival of businessman from Lithuania Vladimir Romanov's son Roman, who is currently serving as president and executive director of Hearts.

"I am very happy that C. Ogilvie agreed to join us. We can learn a lot from his experience in Scottish and European football. He is a great reinforcement and will surely contribute significantly to helping Hearts become a powerful club."
