On Tuesday, there were six replay matches of the third round of the Football Association Cup (FA Cup) in England. According to FA Cup rules, if the match ends in a tie, they are played again on the opponents' field after extra time. It was not easy for Premier League clubs to advance to the fourth round - the round of sixteen.
"Middlesbrough" started the match at home against "Hull" from the Championship league in a convincing manner. In the 32nd minute, the debutant eighteen-year-old Seb Hines scored the first goal from the penalty area. After the break, Mark Viduka scored the second goal, followed shortly by Yakubu Aiyegbeni making it 3-0. However, the visitors quickly responded with goals from Andy Dawson and Jon Parkin.
In the 64th minute, "Middlesbrough" forward Mark Viduka scored the fourth goal with a long range shot. Nevertheless, "Hull" once again responded with a goal a few minutes later, when Andy Dawson converted a penalty kick, making the hosts nervous until the end of the match. The final victory for "Middlesbrough" was 4-3.
