Hegelmann club added a defensive midfielder

The blue and white team has agreed with 25-year-old defensive midfielder Samson Bolaji Ajayi from Nigeria.

The footballer moved from his hometown team "Real Sapphire” to Gibraltar FC "Glacis United” in February 2021, where he scored 3 goals in twenty-seven matches. Later, the Nigerian represented the Slovak club KFC "Kalna nad Hronom,” where he also scored three goals in half a season.

In the summer of 2023, the newcomer from Slovakia joined Gibraltar champions Lincoln "Red Imps.”

So far, S. Ajayi's best period can be considered his time in Gibraltar. With the "Red Imps,” the midfielder became the country's champion, won the cup, and participated in UEFA Champions League and Conference League qualifiers.
