“TOPsport A lyga” saw Kauno rajono “Hegelmann” team secure their fifth consecutive victory. In the 25th round, the blue and white team won 1:0 (0:0) against Alytaus DFK “Dainava” while playing away.

In the first 45 minutes, the hosts launched more threatening attacks. Arijus Bražinskas saved the team from Davoro Rakičius' breakthrough and a dangerous shot from Artiomas Baftalovskis.

In the second half, Artem Ščedras, who has been playing excellently in recent weeks, reminded everyone of his talent. In the 49th minute, the Ukrainian legionnaire scored with a flawless long-range shot.

The Kauno rajono team, with 48 points, has closed the gap on Vilniaus “Žalgiris” and currently sits in second place.
