In good spirits, the team that has won Kauno rajono's "Hegelmann" for the third time in a row during the break in the "TOPsport A lyga". Andrius Skerla's coached players achieved revenge on Alytaus DFK "Dainava" with a 2:0 (1:0) victory in the 16th round as guests.

There were not many threatening episodes in the first half. In the 20th minute, the blue and white team successfully pressed the opponents and after Vilius Armalas pass, the Brazilian Michael Thuique scored again in Alytus.

This was the first goal of the 31-year-old striker in this season.

A little later Denis Bošnjak attacked from a distance, and Leo Ribeiro confused two opponents and struck Volodymyr Krynskyy. "Dainava" made the first shot at the end of the first half - then Ode Abdullahi tested Arijus Bražinskas's vigilance.

After the break, the hosts were slightly more active. The best opportunity in the middle of the second half belonged to Oskaras Lukošiūnas, but his headed ball was caught by A. Bražinskas.

On the other side of the field, Volodymyr Krynskyy had more work - the Ukrainian had to repel several opponent shots. However, in the 85th minute, "Dainava" unsuccessfully defended a corner kick and V. Armalas directed the ball into the goal, cementing the victory.

The "Hegelmann" team with 29 points moves to second place, while "Dainava" remains fifth with 19 points.
