San Marino has ended its drought of victories and fought for its first win in official matches.
In the League of Nations D match, "La Senerissima" defeated the Liechtenstein national team 1:0 at home.
Fabio Luque Notaro had given the visitors the lead in the first half, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review.
In the 53rd minute, Nick Sensoli scored a goal that gifted San Marino a historic victory.
The San Marino men's national football team has achieved only one victory in its football history – in 2004, during a friendly match against the same Liechtenstein. As of now, no victories have been achieved in official matches. In addition to one victory, there have also been nine draws.
