On Saturday, the postponed 27th round of the English Premier League was played. Two London teams - QPR and Tottenham - clashed in the match. Mauricio Pochettino's team outperformed their opponents with a score of 1-2 and continue to intensively fight for a spot in the top four.
The Spurs team took the lead in the 34th minute, when Harry Kane scored with a header after Andros Townsend's penalty kick.
In the second half, the North London team continued to demonstrate their advantage. In the 68th minute, Ryan Mason made a great pass towards the opponents' penalty area, and H. Kane, showing his skills, once again defeated Robert Green.
However, just seven minutes later, QPR managed to reduce the gap to a minimum, but they couldn't score another goal in the remaining time, and Tottenham celebrated a victory.
After Tottenham's victory, the situation at the top of the league table is even more complicated for the teams fighting for a spot in the Champions League. The point difference between the teams occupying positions 3-7 is only 5 points.
