The Australian national team defender Harry Kewell faces a one-game suspension after referee Markus Merk accused him of insults.
The German referee claimed that the 27-year-old defender insulted him several times after the match against Brazil, which took place on Sunday at the end of the game.
Although H. Kewell did not receive a card, M. Merk noted the incident in the official match protocol. The incident will be investigated by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee today or on Tuesday.
