Strategist Roy Hodgson confirmed that in January he plans to strengthen the team with new footballers.
After the club was acquired by "New England Sports Ventures" and financial problems were solved, funds will be allocated to the strategist for this purpose.
"If we want top quality, we have to be prepared to pay the appropriate price," the specialist told the "Liverpool" website. "The owners understand this very well. We have to be sure that if we pay 20 million pounds, we will get a player worth it.
"We want to attract players who are of interest to 'Barcelona', 'Real' Madrid, and 'Inter' Milan. Although I think that January can be a time when many mistakes are made, we want to strengthen for the second part of the season. I am sure we will acquire new footballers."
