"HSV" rented D.Luboja © EuroFootball.com

Starting poorly in the beginning of the German championship and still without a single victory, the club is strengthening. The team has rented Serbian national team striker Danijel Ljuboja, and yesterday the club was also joined by Argentine defender Juan Pablo Sorin.

D. Ljuboja arrived under a rental agreement from another Bundesliga team.

The rental agreement includes a condition that after its expiration, Hamburger SV will be able to purchase the striker who recently had a dispute with the Stuttgart management asking for an increase in his salary.

27-year-old D. Ljuboja is the third player acquired by Hamburger this week to strengthen the team for the UEFA Champions League matches.

It is worth mentioning that J.P. Sorin, who left Villarreal yesterday, moved to a German club, where, as expected, the coastal team paid a sum of 3 million euros. Hamburger also acquired defender Joris Mathijsen from AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands for 6 million euros.
