Belo Horizonte's "Atletico Mineiro" club became Brazilian champions for only the second time in the club's history.  Thursday night Brazilian time "Atletico Mineiro" secured the championship title with a 3:2 victory away against "Bahia". In these matches, the newly crowned Brazilian "Serie A" champions fell behind by 0:2 in the 67th minute, but then Hulk successfully scored a penalty kick, and Keno added a second goal. "Atletico Mineiro" was represented very well this season by the veteran Hulk. The 35-year-old striker scored 18 goals (the most in the league) and made 7 assists in 34 matches. Diego Costa also contributed to the team, playing 11 matches and scoring 4 goals with one assist.
