Humble Xavi: "PSG remains favorites

„Barcelona“ played an impressive game in Paris. 

Xavi's students defeated Paris's „Saint Germain“ team 3:2 in the first Champions League quarter-final match. 

After the match, Xavi remained humble. He is proud of his team, but does not celebrate too soon: „PSG are still the favorites in the series. We just created more chances for ourselves in the second leg due to our solid defense.

I am very proud of my team, as it was a great victory against one of the best teams in the world. We are halfway there. 

We must be proud, but also remain patient“, – said the head coach of „Barcelona“ after the match.

Xavi also praised 17-year-old defender Pau Cubarsi for another great game: „Cubarsi plays at an unbelievably high level. In fact, words are not enough to describe his game.“
