On Sunday evening in Budapest, the return leg of the 2016 European Championship additional qualifying round took place. The Hungarian national team faced Norway in front of their own fans. The Hungarians once again proved their superiority against the Scandinavians and after a very long break, qualified for the European Championship. The Hungarian team celebrated a victory in the first match with a score of 1-0, so they had a one-goal advantage before this match. The hosts took the lead in the 14th minute when the main striker of the team, Tamas Priskin, defeated the opponent's goalkeeper. Norway controlled the ball more, but did not play more successfully than their opponents. In the 83rd minute, the Hungarians already had a two-goal advantage, and in the 87th minute, Markus Henriksen's mistake could no longer help Norway. The last time the Hungarian national team played at the European Championship was in 1972. The 2016 Old Continent Championship will be the third for Hungary in the country's history.
