The "Schalke" club officially announced that they have signed a new three-year contract with striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
The Dutch national team player has recently been linked with English clubs such as London's "Arsenal" and "Liverpool", but the "Schalke" management managed to reach an agreement with the footballer and extend the contract until 2015.
29-year-old Huntelaar arrived in Gelsenkirchen in 2010. During this time, the player has played 105 matches and scored 71 goals.
