Klaas-Jan Huntelaar said goodbye to the Gelzenkirchen "Schalke" team and is returning to his homeland. Amsterdam's "Ajax" officially announced that they have signed a one-year contract with the 33-year-old striker. The Dutchman played for "Ajax" in the past - from 2006 to 2008. K-H. Huntelaar moved to Germany in 2010 after unsuccessful stints with Madrid's "Real" and "Milan", wearing the "Schalke" jersey until the end of this season. However, back in April, the striker announced that he would leave "Schalke" at the end of the season. The Dutch national team member has already played 134 matches and scored 102 goals for Amsterdam's team. Last season, the veteran defended the honor of the "Schalke" team in 24 matches and found the opponents' net five times.
