Klaas Jan Huntelaar insists he will not leave the Gelsenkirchen club this summer.
The Dutch striker moved from "Milan" to Germany last summer. According to the footballer, the fact that "Schalke" will not play in the Champions League next season will not be a reason to leave.
"I don't want to leave just because we won't be in the Champions League. I definitely stay in the team," he told the newspaper "Bild".
In the German championship, "Schalke" is currently in 14th place, and Huntelaar scored eight goals in 23 matches.
