I. Gundogan promises to enter negotiations for contract extension with "Man City"

With recent events, Ilkay Gundogan does not rule out the possibility of starting negotiations again with Manchester City for a new contract.

This season, there has been a lot of talk in the media that I. Gundogan will leave Man City after the season. He still has a year left on his contract, which has made him an attractive purchase for other European clubs.

However, his excellent end to the season and a new role in the midfield prompted I. Gundogan to think about extending his contract.

"Now there is enough time for me to reconsider the situation and start discussions with the club," the German told the newspaper "Bild."

Asked about the season's results, I. Gundogan replied: "Exitting the Champions League was painful, but it would be unfair to mourn when we just won the historic treble in England.

However, that does not mean that in the future I do not wish success for myself and the club in winning the Champions League."

Costing 25 million pounds, Ilkay Gundogan has been playing for Man City since 2016.
