I. Maatsenas joins the "Aston Villa" team

Having spent a great season at Borussia Dortmund, Ian Maatsen will spread his wings to England.

The 22-year-old wingback/defensive midfielder will move to Birmingham's Aston Villa team for 37.5 million euros.

While in the BVB team, the Dutchman played on loan, and since 2019 he has belonged to London's Chelsea.

Borussia Dortmund wanted to fully acquire this player, but Aston Villa presented an even better offer, which the "aristocrats" could not refuse.

An agreement on personal contract terms will be reached soon.

Next season, this English Premier League team will compete in the UEFA Champions League.
