The coach decided to step down due to the worsening results of the "Atlantas" team. According to the strategist, this was also influenced by unfavorable circumstances. During the reconstruction of the Klaipėda stadium, the residents of Klaipėda have to play their home matches on away fields, and the players do not have time to recover after the matches.

I. Pankratjevas stated that he no longer knows what needs to be done in order for the team's results to improve quickly. Currently, in the A League, "Atlantas" is in third place with 25 points.
