The Croatian national team will already start the EURO 2020 quarterfinals on Monday against Spain, however, before this match they received some bad news. It has been officially announced that one of the team's leaders, Ivan Perišić, has contracted the coronavirus and will have to spend 10 days in self-isolation. This means that the country's forward will have to miss the quarterfinal match if Croatia is successful. It is reported that all other national team representatives tested negative for COVID-19.
