I. Rakitić about the future "Barça": "I'm not a sack of potatoes, I'll decide for myself" © JumpStory

Ivan Rakitic is not sure whether he will continue his career at Barcelona after the season. At the beginning of the season, the Croatian midfielder lost his starting role in the team, which made him start thinking about leaving in January, but later his role grew again and this led to the decision to stay. Rakitic's contract with Barcelona is valid until the summer of next year, but he doesn't worry about it. "I am not a sack of potatoes. I will decide myself what my future will be," Rakitic told "Mundo Deportivo". "I want to be where I feel appreciated. If I feel that way in Barcelona, I will be happy. If not, then I will be where I decide." The Croatian also mentioned the potential for a career milestone in the conversation with the mentioned publication. "I always said that one of my dreams would be to wear Sevilla's colors again. However, it doesn't depend solely on me, there are many other factors involved," added the midfielder. Rakitic moved from Sevilla to Barcelona in 2014. Since then, he has played almost 300 matches and scored 35 goals.
