Not long ago, there were reports in the foreign media that Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic is preparing to move to Inter Milan in the summer.
However, it seems that the 31-year-old Croat has no intention of changing teams. Speaking to Mundo Deportivo, Rakitic said he is happy playing for Barcelona.
"I can't explain the rumors about Inter. I have a lot of respect for other teams, and Inter is a great club. At the moment, I am where I want to be. The fact that other clubs are interested in me just shows that I am doing something right. I am happy being at Barcelona, my family likes it here too. I have no other thoughts.
"I did not create these rumors. I still have three years left on my contract and I am happy here," said Rakitic.
This season, the Croatian played 53 games for Barcelona, scoring 5 goals and providing 10 assists.
