Among the three top scorers in the „Premier“ league player Ivan Toney, who is currently in trouble with the English Football Federation after the first part of the season.
The English Football Federation announced that „Brentford“ striker violated the federation's betting rules.
It is reported that I. Toney broke the E8 (betting) rule 232 times, from February 25, 2017, to January 23, 2021.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old striker has not played in the top division, the „Premier“ league.
The English Football Federation gave the Englishman a deadline - he has until November 24th to answer for his actions.
I. Toney could face up to a 4-year ban - that much time without professional football. The last player to be punished for betting was „Newcastle“ defender Kieran Trippier.
