Ghana's national team in the upcoming World Cup may receive an unexpected boost. Ghanaian journalist Muftawu Nabila reports that the "Black Stars" (the team's nickname) are in talks with Bilbao's "Athletic" striker Inaki Williams about possible participation in the World Cup. I. Williams' parents are originally from Ghana. However, the striker has spent his whole life in Spain. I. Williams had to play one game for the Spanish national team, a friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina. Later, the "Athletic" striker also played for the unofficial Basque national team. Nevertheless, if he wanted to, Williams could help Ghana in the World Cup, where in the group stage the team will face South Korea, Portugal, and Uruguay.
