Daily Mirror reports that the next match for Louis van Gaal could be his last.
The team's vice president Ed Woodward is under immense pressure to fire Van Gaal, especially after the loss at home to Norwich on Saturday, which was the third in a row for the United team.
Van Gaal's pupils have now not won six consecutive matches, and fans are demanding the coach's dismissal and the appointment of Jose Mourinho in his place, who was fired from the Chelsea coach position last week.
The United management is not inclined to easily dismiss the coach, but if a fourth consecutive loss is experienced, they may have no other choice. In a fan vote on the coach's future, as many as 88.24% of Red Devils fans voted for the 64-year-old strategist to be fired.
The team has already been eliminated from the Champions League competition, despite having one of the easiest groups, and the coach's problems do not end there. It is claimed that players have lost confidence in Van Gaal and his methods. Their doubts are understandable, considering that this season the Dutchman failed to improve the team's game, which they demonstrated last year by finishing fourth in the Premier League.
In order to remain in the Manchester United team, Louis van Gaal cannot afford to lose against Stoke City anymore.
