Football fans received joyful news from Portugal.
On Monday, it was announced that "Porto" goalkeeper Iker Casillas was released from the hospital, after suffering a heart attack during training last week.
"A few days ago, something happened that could have happened to anyone, anywhere. This fate immediately befell me.
It's difficult to talk about it, but I understand that I am a lucky baby.
I wanted to thank the people who took care of my health during this period, and also say "thank you" to the fans from all over the world who expressed their support on social media," said I. Casillas.
"I feel much better now, but I will rest for a few weeks or months. Now that's not important. The most important thing is that I am here. We will have to wait until my heart fully recovers," reassured the legend.
The Spaniard has been playing for "Porto" since 2015, when he left Real Madrid after 25 years.
By the way, last weekend, players from the royal team expressed their support for their former teammate during the "La Liga" match.
