Immersed in Emotions in the London Derby - Dramatic Draw (VIDEO)

On Wednesday evening, the last 22nd round of matches in the English Premier League were played.

At the Emirates Stadium, two London teams - Arsenal and Chelsea - clashed. The winner of the city derby was not determined - after a tough and dramatic battle, the match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Both teams played open football from the start of the match. Early on, Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata could have scored, but the Spanish sniper missed the target when faced with Petr Čech.

Soon after that episode, the hosts came close to scoring - Alexis Sanchez hammered a powerful shot from a few meters out, only to be saved by Thibaut Courtois, deflecting the ball away miraculously from the goal line.

There were no more serious chances in the first half, and the real battle began in the second half.

In the 63rd minute, the first goal of the match was scored at the Emirates Stadium - a ball deflected from Morata reached Jack Wilshere, who scored with an impressive shot from a difficult angle.

However, Arsenal failed to maintain their advantage for long. Just four minutes later, Hector Bellerin conceded a penalty, which Eden Hazard successfully converted to equalize the score.

The battle was once again evenly matched. Arsenal had better ball control, but in the 84th minute, Marcos Alonso punished them - after a perfect pass from Davide Zappacosta, the Spaniard swiftly directed the ball into the opponent's net, putting Chelsea ahead for the first time in the match.

It seemed like that would be the outcome of the match, but in injury time, an even fiercer battle ensued. In the 92nd minute, H. Bellerin's impressive shot lifted the spirits of Arsenal fans, leveling the score.

However, in the next attack, Arsenal nearly suffered a shocking defeat - after a brilliant pass from Cesar Azpilicueta, Morata once again ran towards the goal but failed to convert. The ball rebounded off Petr Čech to D. Zappacosta, whose powerful shot left the opponents' fans in suspense - the ball hit the crossbar.

After that episode, the match ended in a draw - the teams had to settle for a tie. Chelsea lost their second position after the draw, while Arsenal remained in sixth place with 39 points.
