Impossible not to notice: how D. Beckham and T. Henry filmed the Lay's commercial? © scanpix

During this European Football Championship, most likely everyone saw the advertisement of David Beckham and Thierry Henry's "Lays" chips, which is airing on TV3, TV6 channels and online television.

One of the most memorable commercials was filmed during the previous club season.

On November 7, at the legendary "San Siro" stadium, AC Milan met Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League group stage match. Before the match started, David Beckham and Thierry Henry surprised the fans.

Throughout the stadium, using a microphone, a cube, and sound equipment, the legendary footballers searched for a new package of "Lays" chips. Once they found it, the legends invited two random people to join them for the entire match.

"Lays" brand marketing vice president Ciara Dilley said: "Henry and Beckham - it was a natural choice. What else could be chosen for this position. They embody many of the brand values of 'Lays'. They have a lot of energy. Many people love them."

Interestingly, Lionel Messi was previously the face of the "Lays" brand. He was, so to speak, replaced by David Beckham, who hired the Argentine in his Miami Inter club.

About this deal and advertisement, the famous Brit joked: "My experience is very different from Thierry's, as he eats chips all day long. I didn't eat anything because there were simply none left."

As later revealed, Beckham and Henry watched the Champions League matches with his father and his daughter. The Frenchman was delighted with this opportunity: "Last year I started working with 'Lays' - we delighted the biggest football fans simply by going to their homes to see if they had 'Lays'. If they had them, I stayed and watched football with them.
