At the European Championship, another record was set. However, this achievement was not very pleasant for its authors. In the Old Continent's match between the national teams of Germany and Portugal, two own goals were scored in the first half - "scored" Ruben Dias and Raphael Guerreiro, pupils of Fernando Santos. In total, 5 such own goals have been scored in "Euro 2020", surpassing the record of "Euro 2016" (3) by two strikes. Among the unfortunate Portuguese players who will go down in the infamous record are German Mats Hummels, Pole Wojciech Szczesny, and Turk Merih Demiral.
