In a friendly match - equality of Šiauliai residents

The football academy "Šiauliai" continued their marathon of friendly matches in Estonia. The team from Šiauliai played a draw with the Tallinn "Nomme United" team, who will debut in the highest division of the country this year - 1:1.

From the first minutes of the match, Mindaugas Čepo's players took the initiative into their hands - during fast counterattacks in the opponents' half, the team from Šiauliai found their striker Donatas Kazlauskas, who received the ball and shot towards the goal from the penalty area, although this time the ball flew above the goal.

Later, the team from Šiauliai did not diminish their attacks - they created one positional attack after another, but when a greater danger arose near the hosts' goal, the yellow-black team still lacked success in the final phase of the attack. However, after a mistake by the opponents in front of Augustinas Klimavičius, a penalty was given, which was taken by the already mentioned D. Kazlauskas. However, this time the opponent's goalkeeper saved Donatas' shot.

The home team started the second half more actively. In the beginning of the second half, they organized a successful attack towards the Šiauliai goal - after a confusion in the penalty area, the opponents' forward headed the ball into the goal.

As the match was coming to an end, the team from Saulė managed to equalize the result - after a substitution appearing in the penalty area, Gabijus Micevičius made a pass, and Davis Ikauniekas appeared in time and place to send the ball into the goal. Later, the yellow-black team organized another dangerous attack towards the Estonian team's goal, but this time Simonas Urbys' shot passed by the goal.
